Why Go: Give the kids some time to stretch and grow at this weekly session.

Why Go: Kids can snack on pizza and play while you head out to Valentine’s Day dinner. They’ll be well taken care of so you won’t have to worry.
Pricing: $10 for the first child; $5 for each additional child
• Come Play at Franklin Commons
Where/When: Franklin Commons, near Franklin Bistro and Franklin Hall, ongoing
Why Go: The Franklin Commons facility features a free kids’ play area near the bistro. Bring the kids and enjoy some snacks and free wireless Internet access.

Where/When: , starting Feb. 16 and every Tuesday and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Why Go: Geared to girls 13-18, this program focuses on letting young women chat, share concerns and discuss issues they may be having. The acronym stands for “Listen, Offer, Value, Empower.”

Where/When: Spring Mountain Adventures, 757 Spring Mount Road, Collegeville; Feb. 9 and every Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m.
Why Go: Ski Bees is for 4- and 5-year-olds who are learning to ski. Play games in the snow, ride the Magic Carpet and learn to put skis and boots on. Ski Bees will receive a basic lesson on balance and learn to be comfortable on the snow.
Pricing: $85 for a four-week session, includes all equipment needed
