Creative Clay

Creative Clay (6-8 yrs): Using stories and imagination as inspiration, we will create ceramic objects including usable pots and fanciful sculptures. Possible projects include toad houses, animal rattles, decorative planters, and more. Through this exploration, students will learn basic ceramic methods such as pinch, slab and coil pots, rolling cylinders, altering shapes and applying surface textures and colors.
