Halloween In Phoenixville: What To Know

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Halloween is finally here.
Trick or treating hours have been officially announced in the borough as 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Mayor Michael Speck said at a recent borough council meeting.
The hourly weather forecast for the borough looks promising. Temperatures are expected to however around 50 degrees through most of the day, dropping to 46 by 8 p.m. and 43 by 10 p.m.

Skies forecasted to be sunny and then partly cloudy after dusk, Weather.comreports.
To get in the Halloween spirit, you could always swing by the Phoenixville Public Library, which was the sight of an episode of SCARED! in 2009. According to "paranormal experts" on the show, the library has had its share of "strange occurrences."

The Phoenixville Fire Department will also be hosting trick or treaters, they announced on their Facebook page. Families are encouraged to bring children - and dogs - by the firehouse for candy.
