High Winds Leave Around 500 Without Power in East Pikeland
Hundreds were left without power in the Phoenixville area on Monday after high winds swept through the region.
PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Powerful wind gusts swept across the region on Monday morning, leading to thousands of power outages in the Chester County area.
While the borough of Phoenixville itself mostly escaped any outages, East Pikeland was hit the hardest of any nearby area. A total of 514 customers still had no power Monday afternoon.
PECO estimated that power would be restored by around 3:20 p.m.
