Weltz was arrested on Thursday.

During the course of the investigation, undercover police conducted a “controlled buy operation” of heroin from both suspects, according to officials.

Police are wiretapped both suspect’s communications, they said.

Both suspects have been charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, criminal conspiracy, possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal use of a communication facility (phone).

Weltz attempted to hide thirteen bags of heroin on her person after she was arrested on Thursday, but police found them.

Weltz and Twaddle will both have their hearing on July 29 in Phoenixville.

The Phoenixville Police Department pointed to the Schuylkill Township Police, West Pottsgrove Township Police, Tredyffrin Township Police and the Chester County District Attorney’s Office as playing crucial roles in the investigation.
