
The Jersey Mike's Subs location in Oaks was one of five locations in the Philadelphia area that contributed to raising more than $40,000 for charity during a recent fundraising event.
March was the company's 7th annual "month of giving" in which the company donated a portion of proceeds to a wide variety of charities. The largest beneficiary in the Philadelphia area was the cancer charity Alex's Lemonade Stand.
Across the country, the company raised $5.5 million throughout the month, including $4.6 million on March 29, when 100 percent of proceeds were donated.

“I would like to thank our extraordinary customers, franchise owners, team members and charity partners who helped us raise the most ever during Jersey Mike’s 7th Annual Month of Giving in March,” said Peter Cancro, Jersey Mike’s founder and CEO. “Our mission statement has always been focused on making a difference in people’s lives, and the over $5.5 million raised this March will go a long way toward supporting the good work of our local partner charities.”
Jersey Mike's is also located in Horsham, West Chester, Glen Mills, and Trexlertown.
