Kevin Bacon And His Brother Perform At Phoenixville Concert

The duo were in town to promote conservation and culture around Phoenixville.

The Bacon Brothers were in Phoenixville on Friday night, performing at the Colonial Theatre in support of local conservation and culture.

Their benefit concert contributed proceeds of the event toward the French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust and the Association for the Colonial Theatre.

The event, “Bringing Back The Bacons, was the second time Kevin and Brian Bacon performed at the Colonial Theatre.

“My earliest memory of music was what my brother was playing or the music he brought home,” Kevin Bacon told the Colonial Theatre. “I would sit on the steps of our basement while he was downstairs practicing with our sister, Hilda, and their band. So my heroes growing up were all rock n rollers. I wasnt really into sports, or even movies. If I could save money Id buy an album.”

Natives of Chester County, the Bacons were also in town in 2013 for a concert benefiting the same organizations.
