Le Jazz Hot - Supper Club Vocal Jazz Series with Paula Johns at the Kimberton Inn
Paula Johns, "Le Chanteuse de Jazz," honors Sarah Vaughn with friends the Kevin MacConnell Trio and Special Guest Larry McKenna.
Le Jazz Hot Supper Club Series continues with Paula Johns. “Le Chanteuse de Jazz” brings her playful energy and deep, lyrical understanding to the Kimberton Inn on Friday, March 27th. With the Kevin MacConnell Trio and special guest Larry McKenna on tenor sax, Johns will honor singing legend Sarah Vaughn in commemoration of Vaughn’s birthday. Bill Kingsley of the Sentinel Ledger describes Johns alternating between, “a voice like buttermilk poured over velvet and the growl of a tigress.”
Tickets are $55 per person (tax, tip and alcohol additional) and includes a four course prix fix dinner (appetizer, salad, entrée choice of fish, chicken, beef or vegetarian and dessert).
This event sells out quickly - be sure to purchase your tickets soon! Purchasing online or through the Kimberton Inn guarantees a reservation but if purchasing at Kimberton Whole Foods, reservations are then recommended to make sure you have the seating arrangements you wish. A series change. The April 24 series finale will now feature the marvelous and innovative New York vocalist/song writer Teresa Souter.
