'Lily Palooza' In Mont Clare To Help Local Girl Fight Cancer

MONT CLARE, PA — Local resident Lilyanna Pagnotta, who just finished kindergarten, is starting her third round of chemo. A Mont Clare event, scheduled for this weekend, aims to ensure she doesn't undergo this battle alone, but rather with the strength of her whole community behind her.
"Lily Palooza" will take place on Sunday, Aug. 27 at St. Michael's Picnic Grounds in Mont Clare.
Lily is currently fighting stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma.

"We are calling on anyone out here that agrees with us that no child should have to fight cancer and no parent should have to feel alone as their baby is suffering through the horrendous treatments and all that comes with it," organizers said.
The event, which will raise funds to support Lily's care, will feature food, moon bounces, face-painting, balloon characters, a basket raffle, real-life princess costumed characters, live music, a DJ, bubbles, and even fireworks.

The picnic grounds are located on 203 Jacob Street in Mont Clare.
