Local company wins National Award

At the 2015 Closets & Cabinetry Expo & Conference, a local company (then located in Montgomeryville) took top honors in the national “Top Shelf Design” contest. Closet City earned their first award in the Closet: less than 18 linear feet category for a stunning walk-in closet/dressing room project that their client dubbed as her “personal boutique”.

Starting with a completely empty room, the company transformed the space with two entire walls of hanging areas and shelves, windows flanked by floor-to-ceiling glass panel cabinetry for shoes, a “Hollywood” vanity with lighted mirror, and a center island full of drawers that featured glass counter tops to see inside the lighted jewelry drawers.

In addition, Closet City’s custom design and professional installation was so over the top on this project, it also earned the company an Overall Award, as announced in Woodworking Networks’ CLOSETS magazine in April:

“Two Top Shelf Design Awards entries received perfect scores from the judges, making them both Overall Winners for the Contest: DeVoe Martin, Affordable Closets Plus, Bangor PA, for “Formal Dressing Lounge”, and Janet Stevenson, Cabinets & Closets by Closet City, Montgomeryville PA, for “Personal Boutique.”
