Man Active In Phoenixville Community, World War II and Korea Vet, Passes At 92
Spring City's Elmer E. Mowery, age 92, was married to his wife for 64 years.

Elmer E. Mowery, age 92, husband of Beatrice K. (Welch) Mowery, of Spring City, PA, died early Friday morning, November 11, 2016 in the Phoenixville Hospital, Phoenixville, PA. Born on May 31, 1924 in Sandy Run, PA, he was a son of the late Sylvester and Anna (MacAfee) Mowery. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Air Force during World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Mowery worked as a Slitter for the Dettra Flag Company, Oak's, PA before retiring in 1992. He was a member of the GraceCrossing Community Church in Phoenixville for many years.
In addition to his wife of 64 years, Mr. Mowery is survived by Three Daughters, Donna J. Morris of Birdsboro, PA, Linda L., wife of Edward McMahon of Pottstown, PA, Karen A., wife of James Coulter, of Douglassville, PA; Three Grandchildren, Seven Great-Grandchildren, Sister, Hazel Sanko.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Stephen D. Crane. Burial will be held in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Friends will be received from 9:00 am - 10:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home.
