Man Threatens Neighborood With Gun After Dogs Fight: Cops

It was allegedly over a fight between two dogs.

EAST PIKELAND, PA -- A Royersford man allegedly threatened people with a gun after his dog got in a fight with another dog in East Pikeland, police said.

The incident occurred on Saturday, January 30 at about 5 p.m. on West Ruth Avenue.

Desmond Johnson, 34, allegedly pointed the gun around after the dog fight.

Police arrested Johnson at the scene without incident.

He has been charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment, and reckless endangerment of another person.

Johnson was arraigned and sent to Chester County Prison after failing to post $15,000 cash bail.

His hearing has been scheduled for an unspecified future date.
