Man Threatens To Shoot Patrons At Phoenixville Bar: Cops
The man was drunk and then tried to drive away, police said.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A Phoenixville man was arrested last week after threatening to shoot patrons of a local bar, according to a Phoenixville Police Department blotter.
The incident occurred on June 8 at around 2:44 a.m. at Prima Lounge.
Jimmy O. Evans, 57, of Phoenixville was allegedly drunk and got into an argument with some other late-night bar-goers, police said.

At some point during the argument, he made his threats, and then tried to leave the bar in a pick-up truck, authorities said.
Police pulled Evans over as he was living the lot and tried to give him a blood alcohol test, but he refused, according to authorities.

He was charged with terroristic threats and driving under the influence, and his license will be revoked for a year due to his refusal of the BAC test.
A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
