Man Who Allegedly Robbed String Of Phoenixville Businesses Arrested: Report
A borough resident is in custody.

The Phoenixville Police Department has arrested a man suspected of several burglaries in the borough in recent weeks, they announced Thursday.
Samuel Thomas Butler, 60, was arrested at his home on Thursday, police said.
Butler allegedly first broke the glass front of a pizza shop early in the morning on September 29, taking cash from the register and beer from the cooler, polcie said.

Three other local businesses were robbed the same day, according to police.
Forced entry was made into each of the buildings by breaking glass or prying open windows, police said.

The suspect was described as a middle-aged white male with a black baseball cap and a camoflage backpack.
He had “fresh” injuries to his hands and arms, and walked with a limp.
