Marijuana Stench Tips Off Police During Phoenixville Pot Bust

A juvenile was arrested in Phoenixville on Sunday for marijuana possession after fleeing police, according to the East Pikeland Police Department.

The 17-year-old was stopped near 11 Zoller Drive at about 11:20 p.m. on September 13, police said.

Police said they searched they vehicle and found a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and also discovered that the teenager was driving on a suspended license.

He was charged with possession and for fleeing and eluding police.

He was released pending a juvenile hearing.
