Morning Accident At Phoenixville's 'Troubled' Intersection

There was an accident at the intersection of West Bridge Street and Nutt Road Thursday morning, an area identified by many residents as one of the more dangerous in the borough.

A black pickup truck was making a left hand turn from Bridge onto Route 23 when it struck a a gray sedan’s front driver’s side fender, eyewitnesses reported.

The incident occurred at about 7 a.m.

No injuries were reported.

Concerned residents have proposed several potential changes to the intersection, from bringing back a roundabout, which was once at that intersection many years ago, to changing the light signals.
