Solace Counseling offers compassionate, evidence-based therapy for adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, and life’s challenges. I am a licensed clinician and EMDR-certified therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience, providing both in-person and virtual sessions to clients across Pennsylvania. My office is located in Paoli, PA. My work is grounded in whole-body, trauma-informed care that honors the connection between mind, body, and emotional experience. I integrate EMDR and other evidence-based approaches to support meaningful, lasting change—not just symptom relief. Emotional safety, support, and non-judgment are central to my practice, and I strive to create a space where clients feel understood, respected, and at ease. I view therapy as a collaborative process. While I bring clinical training and structure, I believe clients hold deep insight into what they need and value. Together, we work to explore patterns, build emotional regulation skills, and move toward greater clarity, resilience, and growth—always at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Trinity Presbyterian Church’s Spotlight Concert Series presents an evening of exceptional American songwriting with acclaimed singer‑songwriter Craig Bickhardt, performing in a special full band concert on Saturday, May 23, at 7:00 PM in Berwyn, PA.
With a career spanning more than five decades, Craig Bickhardt is widely respected for his emotional honesty, literary craftsmanship, and finely wrought melodies. His songs have been recorded by legendary artists including Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Alison Krauss, Kathy Mattea, Art Garfunkel, The Judds, and B.B. King. His work also includes the closing theme song for the Academy Award–winning film Tender Mercies (1984).
For this Spotlight Concert Series performance, Bickhardt will be joined by an exceptional ensemble of musicians: Aislinn B. – vocals Kyle Swartzwelder – steel guitar and mandolin Nate Gonzales – keyboards Tommy Geddes – drums

When we need more, how to help others at the same time“Giving freely of ourselves and what we all gain,” a talk by practitioner of Christian Science healing and international speaker, Melanie Wahlberg. The talk will focus on universal healing precepts found in the Holy Bible, especially in Christ Jesus’ life and teachings, showing how they are available for anyone to understand and experience through the lens of Christian Science. The talk is free, open to the community, and sponsored by First Church of Christ, Scientist, 81 Cassatt Avenue, Berwyn, PA 19312




“When we feel overwhelmed by life’s problems, we may want to try to get more from the world,” says Ms. Wahlberg. “But when we do the opposite–give more of ourselves or focus on the God-given qualities we already have to express or contribute, we find that we end up not lacking anything. Really, we gain the unexpected good of joy, health, and strength that move our lives and the world forward.”

Sharing examples of healing from her own life and professional practice of Christian Science, Ms. Wahlberg will explain why Christian Science is both Christian and scientific, meaning that people can prove its effectiveness for themselves, as fully described in the book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, written by the founder of the Christian Science movement, Mary Baker Eddy.

Ms. Wahlberg will also touch on the life of Mary Baker Eddy, and how she came to understand, confirm, and teach what she felt was original Christian healing. Eddy herself said she was especially inspired by Jesus’ demand, “He that believes on me, the works that I do will he do also; and greater works than these will he do, because I go unto my Father” (found in the Gospel of John 14:12 in the Bible).

For over 150 years, people around the world have worked to follow Christ Jesus in this practice of Christianity and continue to do so today, with healings of physical ills and personal difficulties.
