Ages 2 1/2 & Up. Part classroom, part story time, this program focuses on letter recognition, basic math skills, and social concepts (sharing, manners, etc.).

Toddler Time:

Age 14 months - 3 years. Perfect for wiggly little ones, this story time features short books, songs, action rhymes, and movement. Everyone is invited to try a simple craft project at the end of story time.

Teen Movie Night:

Grades 5 & Up. Don’t miss this showing of San Andreas starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Carla Gugino. Rated PG-13. Light refreshments served.

All ages. This story time is open to everyone and features stories, music, and crafts.

Babies & Books:

Ages 0-14 months. Introduce your baby to books! This program is geared toward pre-walkers and non-confident walkers. Story time includes board books, rhymes, bounces, and tickles. Everyone is invited to stay for a thirty minute informal playgroup once story time ends.

Ages 2-5. Think reading is all about sitting down? Think again! This story time is equal parts gym class and reading. Featuring stories filled with movement that we will try ourselves, this story time is full of physical activity and fun.

Little Sprouts Nature Class:

Ages 3-5 and a caregiver. Join educators from Green Valleys Association as they bring these FREE, nature education programs to the library. Classes are independent of each other and include hands-on activities, a story, and craft. Register for one, two, or all four! This month’s theme is Wildlife Detectives. Through sensory activities and a craft to feed our local birds, discover the many different animals found in our neighborhoods. Miss Maggie Sings:

All Ages, Families. Bam! Pow! Read! Be a hero with Miss Maggie Sings!, an educational and fun show that explores all things hero: super heroes, heroes in literature, the media, in our own lives, and most importantly, the hero inside all of us.
