How to Train Your Robot:

1-2-3 Learn With Me:
Ages 1-3 years. An informal playgroup for young children and their parents/caregivers to explore, meet other families, and develop together through play.
11:30 AM-11:50 AM
Babies & Books:
Ages 0-14 months. Introduce your baby to books! This program is geared toward pre-walkers and non-confident walkers. Story time includes board books, rhymes, bounces, and tickles. Everyone is invited to stay for a thirty minute informal playgroup once story time ends.

LEGO Club:
Ages 4-12. Children will be directed to use their imagination to create objects with LEGOS.
3:45 PM-4:30 PM
Block Party:
Interest Level: Ages 3-6 and a caregiver. Block play offers children many benefits: expressing themselves; working with others; physical development; and planning, math, and science skills. We have a large case of blocks along with figures, animals, dinosaurs, and other props kids can use to build, so bring your imagination and creativity! Thrilling Thursdays at the Colonial Theatre:
All ages. Fun and entertaining live stage shows. This week come and see The Magic Conductors’ Reading Adventure: The Caboose Mystery. Children love story times and magic. Children love TRAINS. When you mix books, magic, and trains all together you get Steve Woyce, as the Magic Conductor! All aboard! Please note: These library programs will be held at the Colonial Theatre located at 227 Bridge Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460. All the shows are free, but donations will be accepted at the door.

Age 14 months - 3 years. Perfect for wiggly little ones, this story time features short books, songs, action rhymes, and movement. Everyone is invited to try a simple craft project at the end of story time.

These programs are presented in conjunction with Phoenixville Library's Summer Reading Program, On Your Mark, Get Set...Read! They are free and open to the public and do not require registration unless otherwise noted. Come to the library to register and receive your reading folder with reading logs, rules, and all that you need to participate. Kids can join at any time throughout the program.
The program is divided into two age groups:
On Your Mark, Get Set...Read! (Early Literacy) - Ages Birth to 3/4 years.
On Your Mark, Get Set...Read! - For children in Pre-K through 5th grade.
Kids earn free media rentals and raffle tickets toward prizes.
Get in the Game, Read! is our program for Young Adults in Grades 6 through 12.
We are looking forward to a great summer of reading and activities.
