Learn more about Mom's House of Phoenixville, one of the borough's hardest working nonprofits.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- While Phoenixville is known for its bustling downtown district, small businesses, history, and entrepreneurial spirit, there are several local nonprofits working tirelessly to ensure that the borough can fulfill it's potential.
One of those charities is Mom's House of Phoenixville, which, among other things, offers free childcare for single parents who are in school full-time.

Mission Statement: "Mom’s House is a non-profit organization that provides safe and secure childcare from six weeks up to four years of age so that qualified single parents can complete their education, (i.e.high school, GED, technical school or college). We care for your child by providing nutritious meals, clothing, diapers and other essentials, and prepare toddlers for pre-school. We are a state-licensed daycare operation and are operational through grants, donations, and fundraisers. Mom's House does not receive any government funding."
Upcoming events: Mom's House will host "Giving Tuesday" to encourage donations during the heart of holiday shopping season, just days after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Donors are encouraged to come to the organization's headquarters, meet the Mom's House Staff, and learn how they can support the nonprofit's mission.
How you can help: "Mom’s House is looking for caring and committed individuals to join our Board of Directors and various Board committees. The Board is responsible for the legal and ethical oversight and effective management of Mom’s House. Please contact Wendy McKeon for more information at wmckeon_momshouse@verizon.net."
