'Oklahoma!' comes to town

Facetime Theatre summer stage presents “Oklahoma!” on Thurs. Aug. 6 and Fri. Aug. 7 at 7 pm, and on Sat. Aug. 8 at 2 pm in the beautiful Lenfest Theatre at Ursinus College.

Set against the backdrop of the rivalry between ranchers and farmers in a western Indian territory, this love story is considered to be Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most innovative and influential collaboration. Filled with colorful characters and timeless hits like “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin,’” “The Surrey with the Fringe on Top,” “People Will Say We’re in Love” and the title song, “Oklahoma!” will have you laughing, singing and tapping your feet in your seat.

Facetime Theatre’s summer stage shows are performed by students and interns from 4th grade through college after three weeks of focused instruction from teachers experienced in theater arts and education.

Phoenixville-based Facetime performs in the Lenfest Theatre located in the Kaleidoscope Performing Arts Center of Ursinus College, 601 E. Main St., Collegeville, PA. Enter campus at the West Entrance on 9th Ave. and drive straight into the parking lot for the Kaleidoscope building.
