Operation FOCUS Receives Boost from PCEF, Will Host Upcoming Food Festival

The post-prom party group is in full swing, gearing up for this year's bash.

Phoenixville Community Education Foundation (PCEF) Board Members Kelly Connors and Sharon Bauer stopped by a meeting at Phoenixville Area High School on Monday evening armed with a giant check.

On behalf of PCEF, they awarded a $3,000 grant to Operation FOCUS (For Our Children’s Uncompromised Safety) in support of the PAHS post-prom party being held for the 12th year. This year's post-prom theme is "Are You Game?"

The mission of Operation FOCUS is to provide a safe alternative to other parties where drugs and alcohol may be present, parties that may be unsupervised or situations that can lead to destructive decisions.
