PASD Board Elects New Officers

At its Dec. 1 reorganization meeting, the Phoenixville Area School District elected new officers.

According to the PASD:
The Phoenixville Area School District unanimously elected Dr. Daniel Cushing as the new president of the Board of Directors. Mrs. Betsy Ruch will serve as the newly elected vice-president. Mr. Kevin Pattinson and Mr. David Ziev will continue in their roles as board secretary and board treasurer, respectively.

In other action, the Board approved the school calendar for the 2015-2016 school year, with the first day of school for students scheduled to be Monday, Aug. 31, 2015.
