PASD to Receive $317K From the State for Middle School Project
The funds were anticipated more than four years ago, when the Middle School project was under construction.

The following was provided to Patch by Phoenixville Area School District:
Phoenixville Area School District received notification from Rep. Warren Kampf’s office that the Pennsylvania Department of Education has approved $317,606 for the Phoenixville Area Middle School project.
Historically, when a school district issues bonds for construction purposes, the state reimburses approximately 5% of the cost to the District. A moratorium was placed on all payments three years ago by the Commonwealth.
