Phantoms Provide the Thunder at the 117th Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA-The Phantoms blistered the field with a brand new team assembled just for the Penn Relays. In the first ever race run together they finished with a time of 51.06 to win their heat among some pretty steep competition.

“This was awesome,” said Jacine Durrell. “It was so much fun running together. I hope we get to do it again soon.”

“This is just an amazing experience,” said anchor-woman Lisa Payton. “To see all these people as you are coming to the finish is like nothing else I can compare it to. Wow.”

Rachel Carr came on board with Stokes, Durrell and Johnson for the 4 x 400 and the Phantoms finished third out of 16 quality squads, and it was clearly a day to remember for the purple and white.
