Phantoms' Season Ends Two Outs Short of Championship Game
Pope John Paul II defeated Phoenixville 3-2 in the PIAA District One Semifinal.
Senior Jon Wheel's two-run homerun yesterday was not enough as a walk off double by the Golden Panthers catcher A.C. Carr scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to end the Phantoms season two outs short of the title game.
