PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- This week's submissions are in, and the Phoenixville area puppy of the week is Scooter.

Here's what Scooter's family has to say about him:

"This is Scooter. He was given to us by a friend who had lost their house and did not want to put him in a shelter. Scooter is extremely energetic & absolutely loves to play! He also is protective of the house..he barks at every single person who walks by the house. He's my best friend who I'm glad to see every day when I get home."
