Phoenixville Crime Blotter: Heroin Possession, Theft, And Ice Cold Natural Light Along The Schuylkill River Trail

The Phoenixvile Police Department was busy from July 22 through July 30.

Heroin possession, theft, and an ice cold can of Natural Light along the Schuylkill River Trail: these were just a few of the police activities over the past eight days in Phoenixville.

The full list of recent activity, courtesy of the police department, is below:

On 07/22/15 at 7:10pm, a 31 year old female from Pottstown was charged with possession of heroin, after being arrested on an active drug warrant held by the Phoenixville Police Department’s Drug Unit.

On 07/24/15 at 2:43am, a 55 year old male from Royersford was found intoxicated lying on the sidewalk of the Gay Street (Veteran’s Memorial) bridge. The male was arrested for public drunkenness.

On 07/25/15 at 12:11am, a 24 year old male from Plymouth Meeting and a 26 year old male from Phoenixville were cited having open bottles of Rolling Rock and Shock Top beer at South Main Street and Bridge Street.

On 07/25/15 at 1:50am, a 23 year old male from Norristown was cited for having an open bottle of Corona beer at South Main Street and Bridge Street.

On 07/25/15 at 4:01pm, a 20 year old male from Phoenixville was arrested on an active criminal warrant held by the Lower Providence Township Police Department at the Children’s Plaza located at Bridge Street and Bank Street. The male was placed in a holding cell and later released to Lower Providence Township Police Department.

On 07/25/15 at 11:45pm, a 21 year old female from Royersford was arrested for public drunkenness at South Main Street and Bridge Street.

On 07/26/15 at 10:37am, a 52 year old male from Spring City was arrested for retail theft at the Gateway Pharmacy located at 165 Nutt Road.

On 07/26/15 at 8:52pm, a 17 year old female from Phoenixville was arrested for theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property at the Children’s Plaza located at Bridge Street and Bank Street. The female was released to her mother.

On 07/29/15 at 3:55pm, a 38 year old male from Phoenixville was cited for having an open can of Natural Ice beer along the Schuylkill River Trail.
On 07/30/15 at 1:28am, a 20 year old male from Phoenixville was arrested for theft from a motor vehicle in the 200 block of Morgan Street. A witness saw the male in a vehicle and chased the male to a residence and he was arrested by officers.

On 07/30/15 at 6:06pm, Phoenixville Police officers assisted Schuylkill Township Police officers with arresting a 32 year old male on an active Montgomery County bench warrant at the Wawa located at 120 Schuylkill Road. The male was sent to Montgomery County Prison.
