Phoenixville Food Festival Set For May 6
The Phoenixville Spring Food Festival will include more than 30 food trucks.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Planning is well underway for this spring's Food Festival in Phoenixville. More than 30 food trucks, plus tables from local restaurants and vendors, will be on hand.
The festival is planned for Saturday, May 6, from noon to 6 p.m. The 100 and 200 blocks of Bridge Street will be shut down, as well as Main Street between Price Street and Church Street.

Small business owners in the town had recently pleaded with the borough council to change the dates for several of the borough's festivals, including the food truck festival, alleging that the closed roads and increased foot traffic were bad for business. Business owners wanted to the dates for the festivals to be switched to Sunday.
