PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Phoenixville Area High School has once again been recognized by the Washington Post as one of America’s Most Challenging High Schools, coming in at fifth in Pennsylvania and at 550th in the country.

This is the second year in a row for Phoenixville to be in the Top 10 in the state, appearing at #7 last year.

The rankings are based on the number of Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate and Advanced international Certificate of Education tests given at a school each year, divided by the number of seniors who graduated that year.
