Phoenixville Library Offering Microsoft Office Classes

The cost for each class is $5 per person, payable at class time.

The following was provided to Patch by Phoenixville Public Library:

Learn the basics of Microsoft’s Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2010 programs and more on Saturday mornings starting September at Phoenixville Public Library. IT Professional Ernie Tidball is the instructor.

The class schedule is as follows: September 6 (Word Basic); September 13 (Excel Basic); September 20 (PowerPoint Basic); October 4 (Buying and Selling on eBay).

Class time is 10 a.m. to noon in the Library’s Community Education Room.

Students may bring their own laptops with Office 2010 installed (except for the eBay class). Students should bring a USB drive if they wish to save their work. Basic knowledge of computers and the ability to use a keyboard and mouse are required. Cost for each class is $5 per person, payable at class time.

There is a limit of 12 students per class, and reservations are required. Students may register for one or any combination of classes. When registering, please indicate if you will be bringing a laptop. Class descriptions and online registration are available on the Adult Events calendar at www.phoenixvillelibrary.org.
