Phoenixville Man Shoots Co-Worker With Nail Gun: Report

"Shoot me if you want," the victim reportedly said, just before the suspect shot him.

WEST VINCENT TOWNSHIP, PA - A Phoenixville man was arrested Monday for allegedly shooting a victim with a nail gun, according to reports.

The incident occurred at 1:48 p.m. on December 14 on Butternut Lane in Byers Station where crews were working on a home, the report states.

Mario Lopez, 34, was holding the nail gun when he got in an argument with a coworker, which ended in the victim saying, “shoot me if you want,” according to the Pottstown Mercury.

Lopez then shot the victim, sending the nail deeply into the victim’s hip, the report states.

Lopez was arrested and the victim taken to Paoli Hospital.
