PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- A Phoenixville man who backed out of a "Romeo and Juliet" style suicide pact after his girlfriend died has been sentenced to prison.

Anthony Noble, 27, will spend the next 10 to 25 years in jail after being convicted of third-degree murder, court documents show.

Noble, who resided on the 300 block of Hall Street, had originally been charged with first-degree murder after injecting his girlfriend with multiple needles filled with cocaine at Lock 60 in December of 2015. The third-degree murder charge came as part of a plea deal, according to court documents.
