Phoenixville Woman Made Millions Off Her Company's Equipment: U.S. Attorney
She was found guilty of selling millions of dollars of telecommunications equipment - and pocketing the profits.

A Phoenixville woman has been convicted of running a multimillion dollar fradulent telecommunication scheme, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Juanita Berry, 47, worked as a consultant from 2008 to 2011 at an Indiana company’s Levittown facility that installed and removed telecommunications systems, worth tens of thousands of dollars.
Berry created her own company, called J. Starr Communications, to sell both used and new systems, and take the proceeds for herself, according to officials.

She managed to deceive employees in Levittown and in Indiana that the additional shipments she was taking were part of the normal course of business.
The Florida company that was purchasing the cards from Berry, from 2008 to 2011, sent her over $3.5 million.
