Phoenixville's Vintage Val Rio Diner Finds New Home
The Val Rio Diner, a historic Phoenixville treasure, will be moved to New Jersey and completely revamped.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Phoenixville's historic Val Rio Diner, one of only four distinctive Paramount-style diners remaining in the entire country, has officially found a new home, and it will be restored to its original condition.
6ABC reports that the new owner, Philadelphia attorney Tom Kline, will have the diner transported to its as-of-yet unrevealed location in New Jersey this month.

Puleo had repeatedly expressed his wish that the eventual buyer of the diner revamp the treasure.
Val Rio opened in 1948 and was in operation for 60 years before it shut down in 2008. The diner, which was located on 494 Nutt Road during its active years, was hoisted up and moved down to 27 Nutt Road, on Puleo's property, where it has sat under a tarp for some time.
