Renaissance Academy Success at Phoenixville Rotary Club Spelling Bee
Renaissance Academy is proud to announce that two students placed in their divisions of the Spelling Bee

Phoenixville, PA – On Saturday, February 11th, students in grades participated in the 5th annual Phoenixville Rotary Club Spelling Bee. This all-day event, which was held at Phoenixville Middle School, was open to all elementary schools in the Phoenixville area. The bee was divided into 3 separate divisions; 1st grade, 2nd grade and 3rd/4th grade.
Renaissance Academy is proud to announce that two students placed in their divisions. Aadit Bontha spelled her way into a first place win in the 3rd/4th-grade division and Yasmeen Radwane’s performance won her second place in the 2nd-grade division.
In addition to Renaissance Academy, other participating schools included Barkley Elementary, Brooke Elementary, Charlestown Elementary, East Pikeland Elementary, East Vincent Elementary, General Wayne Elementary, Holy Family School, Oaks Elementary, PA Distance Learning Charter, and Schuylkill Elementary.

Virginia Albany, English language arts teacher and bee representative for Renaissance Academy said,” All of our students did a great job and represented Renaissance in a very positive way. This is a great community event that promotes education and friendly competition among students from all over Phoenixville.”
