Route 113 Repaving In Phoenixville to Continue to Bridge Street

PennDOT has issued an updated schedule for the paving project on Route 113 in Phoenixville. Motorists should expect traffic in the area.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has updated their schedule for the ongoing repaving of Route 113 in the Phoenixville area.

Crews will continue paving Route 113 from the county line at Black Rock Road to Bridge Street on Thursday, and will continue through Sunday, September 11, officials said.

The paving will include the Emmett Street and Franklin Avenue portions of 113 in the borough.

If all goes according to plan, Sunday construction will begin to progress on 113 from Bridge Street to Nutt Road and Route 23. That work on this section is expected to last through Tuesday, September 13.

"These resurfacing projects mean a smoother and safer commute for motorists on some of our most well-traveled roads and highways,” PA State Senator Dinniman said in a press release.
