"It was the Phoenixville Mural, with the inscribed bricks and landscaping improvements which defined Renaissance Park that was the impetus for Phoenixville’s economic revitalization," said Barbara Cohen, President of the Schuylkill River Heritage Center. "Bringing back the Phoenixville Mural and making the park an interpretive gathering place once again will provide an historic, artistic accomplishment that illustrates our community’s legacy. This special place will also help sustain Phoenixville’s economic resurgence."
