Join us as Lou and Julian take us out to the ballgame. Lou Beccaria, President and CEO of the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation, has played semi-pro baseball in Philadelphia, coached youth baseball, and written a chapter for the book Balls, Bats & More!: Essentials of Professional Baseball. Phoenixville resident Julian McCracken is a former General Manager of the Reading Phillies and member of the Reading Baseball Hall of Fame. Lou will discuss baseball bats and his experiences during his annual summer pilgrimages to baseball stadiums around the country. Julian will speak on the scouting aspect of baseball, player development, and the minor league system, and will also bring along some bats and baseball memorabilia.
