Theft
Sometime between Friday, Nov. 28, and Saturday, Nov. 29, someone removed a statue of the Virgin Mary from the front yard of a home in the 1100 block of Balfour Circle. It is valued at $150.

Burglary Arrest
At 4:20 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1, East Pikeland Police responded to a call of a burglary in progress in the first block of Crestview Drive. Police responded and discovered a man standing in the dining room area of the house trying to break a window to escape police. Taken into custody was Patrick Murphy, 18, of the 300 block of Merlin Road in Phoenixville. He was charged with burglary and related offenses and remanded to Chester County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
