Victims Identified In Fatal Mont Clare Crash Into Schuylkill Canal

The victims of Monday night's tragedy have been identified.

The victims have been identified in a fatal crash in the Schuylkill Canal late on Monday night.

Lauren Ann Magargal, 25, and Clinton Berger, 29, died in Mont Clare near Lock 60, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office announced in a press release.

The driver of the car, 21, allegedly backed the car out of the parking lot at about 11:30 p.m., and then crossed over the paved canal roadway and onto a grass embankment, which caused the car to flip over into the water, the DA’s office said.
