West Chester Stabbing Suspect Taken Into Custody

The stabbing in the early hours Sunday morning left a 22-year-old man bleeding on the ground.

The suspect police were looking for in a stabbing incident that occurred over the weekend has been arrested police announced.

The West Chester Police Department had issued an arrest warrant for Vincent Carl Devalia, 27, on Wednesday, and he was taken into custody Thursday.

Devalia allegedly stabbed a 22-year-old man in the chest at 2:39 a.m. on Sunday on Market Street and Walnut Street.

Devalia’s last known address was 526 W. Marshall Street in West Chester, police said.
