All this nonsense about marijuana
 Marijuana was made illegal to protect Randolf Hearst (citizen Kane) paper mills from competition of the superior paper made from hemp. DuPont from competition for his products rayon cloth and plastic 's rope. Marijuana's hemp rope and cloth was superior.
Mellon was a heavy investor in DuPont and wanted his wealth protected. We need trees for oxygen Hearst  cut them down doing harm to the environment. DuPont chemicals polluted the environment but Hearst, DuPont and Mellon made a fortune at the expense of our enviroment and the  farmers who depended on the clean cash crop marijuana .  This didn't concern congress who pass the law to protect the rich even though it hurt the country.The same thing goes on today Koch bros and MONSANTO who profit at our expense
