The KVBA Chamber Music Series continues with the Wister String Quartet on Thursday, July 21st at 7:30 pm in the Colonial Room at the historic and beautiful Kimberton Inn.
Named to honor Frances Anne Wister, the founder of The Philadelphia Orchestra’s Volunteer Committees, the Wister Quartet‘s members have all had a long association with the Orchestra. Since its formation in 1987, it has earned high praise from critics and audiences alike for its superb musicianship and memorable performances, including those with guest artists Emanuel Ax, Yefim Bronfman, Christoph Eschenbach, Alicia de Larrocha, Wolfgang Sawallisch and Yo-Yo Ma.
There will be a cash bar before each concert and at intermission. The Kimberton Inn offers a 10% dining discount to concertgoers.
Tickets cost is as follows: Series $80, Single concert $20, Student $12.
