Woman Rescued From Vehicle Fire In East Pikeland, Then Charged With DUI
An onlooker, who is being called a "good Samaritan," rushed to rescue the woman from her car as it went up in flames.

EAST PIKELAND, PA -- An 18-year-old Spring City woman was rescued from her vehicle as it went up in flames, and was later charged with driving under the influence.
Kayla Lee Meta, of the 300 block of Chestnut Street, crashed at about 11:30 p.m. on Wall Street in East Pikeland, according to police.

Police put the fire out with a fire extinguisher when they arrived on the scene.
The ensuing investigation into the accident revealed that Meta had been driving under the influence.
