Woman Steals Credit Card Information For Supermarket Purchases

Authorities are seeking a woman suspected of stealing credit card information to make purchases at Wegmans and Giant, the Upper Providence Police Department announced Wednesday.

The victims were in possession of their credit cards at the time of the fraud, police said.

The woman is wanted for multiple incidents throughout the area, according to police.

She was captured on video surveillance camera on July 23 using a victim’s credit card to make gift card purchases at the Wegmans in Downingtown, police said.

The suspect also made purchases at Wawa and Giant, police said.

She was driving a dark-colored sport utility vehicle believed to be a Jeep Liberty.
