• Church volunteers restore historic gravestones (statecollege.com) — Volunteers from St. Paul Lutheran Church spent a day restoring historic gravestones at Pine Grove Mills Cemetery on South Nixon Road, renewing weather-worn markers from more than 125 years of local history. Using preservation-grade cleaners, they made many unreadable stones legible again and plan to continue this annual service tradition to keep the cemetery a dignified place of remembrance for the whole community.
