Road Crews to Clean Stormwater Inlets Along Route 910

PennDOT also plans litter removal and patching on I-79.

Crews will be cleaning stormwater inlets along Route 910 in Pine, Richland and Marshall townships from Montour Road to Brandt School Road this week, PennDOT announced.

Interstate 79 will be "redd up" too as workers patch the highway from Warrendale to Neville Island and remove litter from Warrendale to Washington County.

Guide rail repairs on I-79 and I-279 (Parkway North) will trigger intermittent, short-term single-lane closures in several locations from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

All work is scheduled, weather permitting; lane closures and restrictions should be expected in work areas, according to PennDOT.

Motorists are urged to call 1-800 FIX ROAD to report roadway concerns on state routes and interstates. Litter and debris removal and pothole patching will occur in various areas as needed.

PennDOT advises motorists to use caution, slow down and anticipate changing traffic patterns, lane closures and possible delays when traveling through the area.

PennDOT also reminds motorists that they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions and cameras on major roadways before traveling.
