Short-Term Restrictions Planned in Etna Interchange Area on Tuesday

Restrictions will affect northbound Route 28 and southbound Route 8.

Short-term restrictions on northbound Route 28 and the on-ramp from southbound Route 8 in the area of the Etna Interchange will occur on Tuesday, PennDOT District 11 announced.   

Crews will be conducting repairs on the wall along the ramp from southbound Route 8 to northbound Route 28. A left-lane closure will occur on northbound Route 28 at the ramp entrance. A left-shoulder closure will occur on the ramp.

Work will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.

The work is part of the $27.2 million Etna interchange Phase V project. The prime contractor is Mascaro Contracting of Pittsburgh.
