• Three convicted in attack on Pine Ridge Community (pikecountycourier.com subscription) — Residents of the Pine Ridge community may feel some relief after a Pike County jury convicted three New York men for a 2019 armed attack that targeted the community’s security office and staff. Jurors saw video of the kidnapping of a Pine Ridge security guard and the attempted escape, which was stopped by quick-thinking Pine Ridge employees and state troopers. Sentencing is scheduled for March 31.
